Julianne Kiely: Yahallo, I'm a Palaeobotanist and Palaeobotanical Artist based in the UK. My areas of interest are quite varied although my main areas of research have so far been on Cretaceous andgiosperms and fossil gnetophytes. My personal interest in palaeobotany mainly revolves around how we restore the life appearance of extinct plants. This is an area of little previous study, so my main goal is to elucidate methods of reconstructing prehistoric plants, and making information about this process more accessible to the non-specialist. Basically I'm a plant nut who enjoys drawing extinct plants in cool, new and hopefully interesting ways!
